Fresh watermelon is a fruit salad essential. But, for the slightly less virtuous, works just as well in a cooling cocktail. Like this Watermelon and Lime Punch that balances bright watermelon notes and OJ that provide a fruity sweetness, with a sharp citrusy tartness from the lime. Refreshing and perfectly balanced, it’s the adults-only version of an icey cold juice!

INGREDIENTS

  • 50mL Watermelon & Lime Gin – This one by Edinburgh Gin is excellent
  • 50mL Orange Juice
  • 25ml Grenadine
  • Top with Lemonade
  • Watermelon slice

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pour gin, orange juice and grenadine into the shaker with ice
  2. Strain into a highball full of ice
  3. Top with lemonade
  4. Garnish your watermelon and lime punch with a small watermelon slice on the glass
