From football fests to tennis tournaments, July is a big month for competitive sports. But, if you’re not into the Olympics. Or just equally interested in celebrating food, flowers, and the fabulous locals who bring them to life, then you’ll want to meet the Sydney Markets Fresh Awards Winners, who recently revealed themselves at Sydney’s ICC on July 12th. Alongside MC Chris Bath this year’s judging panel was selected for their commitment to recognising NSW and ACT’s best produce people. And, included infectiously energetic pastry chef Anna Polyviou, journalist Edwina Bartholomew, culinary queen Lyndey Milan OAM and Manel Ahmad, a banker by day and a passionate food blogger and caterer by night. Oh, and The Carousel’s own founder and Editor in Chief Robyn Foyster who drew on her extensive career expertise to offer invaluable insights into media and consumer trends during the judging process.
