3 Delicious Mocktail Recipes For Dry July

Whether you’re sober curious or just want to help a worthwhile cause Dry July is a fantastic opportunity to take a break from booze. And, while your wallet, health, and the foundation by the same name will greatly appreciate your efforts to raise funds for cancer research, your taste buds may miss the sparkle of a good cocktail.

So, to make breaking up with bubbles (and socialising) for 31 days a little easier, Sodastream has shared three of their most delicious Dry July recipes.

In the spirit of celebration sans-alcohol, we really recommend making your own fresh sparkling water – which is as simple as filling a bottle with cold water, carbonating with the Sodastream machine and then adding to create your favourite mocktails, like the ones below.

You’re a Jam

INGREDIENTS

  • Sparkling Water
  • Strawberry Jam
  • Honey
  • Lemon
  • 120ml of cranberry Juice
  • Ice

DIRECTIONS

Add jam, honey, squeeze of lemon juice, 120ml of cranberry juice and ice to a glass.
Top with one litre of sparkling water and stir, before garnishing.

Pear-Mango-Tango

INGREDIENTS

  • Sparkling water
  • 120ml of mango juice
  • Lemon
  • 60ml of pear juice
  • 10ml vanilla syrup
  • Ice
  • Fresh mint and raspberries (for garnish)

DIRECTIONS

In a glass with ice, add 120ml of mango juice, a squeeze lemon juice, 60ml of pear juice and10ml of vanilla syrup.
Top up with sparkling water and stir.
Garnish with fresh raspberries and mint.

The Golden Hour

INGREDIENTS

  • Sparkling water
  • Cucumber (chopped)
  • Green apple (chopped)
  • Basil
  • 120ml of apple juice
  • Lime
  • 10ml of lemongrass syrup
  • Ice

DIRECTIONS

To a shaker add green apple, cucumber, basil and muddle.
Also, add 120ml of apple juice, squeeze of lime juice, 10ml of lemongrass syrup and ice before shaking. Pour over ice in a glass. Top up with sparkling water and stir before garnishing.
