CES 2026: Flowpad

Forget rings and watches. At CES 2026, the biggest breakthroughs in women’s wellness aren’t worn on the body—they’re integrated into our most private, everyday routines. Leading the charge is at-home testing pioneer Vivoo, which just unveiled two “invisible” technologies designed to turn biological waste into life-saving data: the FlowPad and the Vivoo Smart Toilet.

“This is the future of hormone health: accessible, effortless, and human-centered.” — Miray Tayfun, CEO of Vivoo

The FlowPad: A Menstrual Pad That Maps Your Hormones

For decades, menstrual blood has been treated as something to be discarded. Vivoo’s FlowPad changes that narrative, transforming a period product into a sophisticated diagnostic tool.

While it looks and feels like a standard over-the-counter pad, it contains a hidden microfluidic diagnostic layer. This technology directs blood into specific biomarker zones to measure:

  • Fertility & Ovarian Health: Track FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone) markers and reproductive health.
  • Perimenopause Symptoms: Monitor hormone shifts during the transition to menopause.
  • Vaginal Microbiome: A built-in pH indicator monitors for imbalances that could lead to infections.

How it works: The pad uses a lateral flow test (similar to a COVID or pregnancy test). You simply wear the pad on the second or third day of your cycle, then use the Vivoo app to scan the results with your phone camera.

The Smart Toilet: Hydration Tracking Reimagined

Alongside the FlowPad, Vivoo launched an optical clip-on sensor for your toilet. While other smart toilets on the market can cost upwards of $500, Vivoo’s Smart Toilet targets a more accessible price point of $99 with no mandatory subscription fees for early users.

The sensor acts like a “health detective,” analyzing urine to provide real-time insights into your hydration levels and specific gravity. It’s a seamless way to monitor internal wellness without having to manually log water intake or wear a device 24/7.

Why This Matters for Women’s Health

The shift toward “fluid-based” tracking is more than just a novelty. Menstrual blood is a goldmine of endocrine data. Recent clinical studies suggest it can be used to screen for:

  • Endometriosis and PCOS
  • Cervical Cancer (HPV detection)
  • Diabetes (HbA1c monitoring)

By moving testing into the home and integrating it into products we already use, Vivoo is lowering the barrier to preventative care
